Kianoosh Naghshineh
CEO and President


Kianoosh Naghshineh brings more than 20 years of engineering and management experience in systems and networking to his role as CEO and president of Chelsio Communications. Before founding Chelsio, Kianoosh was CEO and president of ASIC Designers, Inc., an intellectual property firm providing silicon cores for communications-systems markets. Prior to that, Kianoosh was one of the primary architects of the Origin supercomputer at Silicon Graphics. Prior to SGI, Kianoosh held a variety of product engineering and analog and digital circuit design positions in fiber distributed data interface (FDDI) networking design (bipolar/cmos) at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).

Kianoosh holds a B.S.E.E. from Cornell University and an M.S.E.E. from Stanford University. He currently holds 10 patents in analog and digital circuit design, computer architecture, networking and host interfaces.

 


Dr. Ásgeir Eiriksson
CTO

Ásgeir joins Chelsio Communications from Silicon Graphics, where he was responsible for protocol design, ASIC chip design and implementation, and formal design methodology.

A member of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the IEEE, Ásgeir holds a Ph.D and MSEE in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota. He also won the prestigious Best Paper award at the 1998 Formal Methods in Computer Aided Design for his work on "The Formal Design of 1M-gate ASICs." He currently holds 5 patents in computer architecture, computer aided design methods, networking and host interfaces.

 


Kun Taek Yim
Vice President, Operations


Kun brings over 20 years experience in manufacturing and operations to Chelsio. Kun served as vice president of operations for the Storage Business at Applied Micro Circuits Corp. (AMCC), and before that, at 3ware, Inc., a storage subsystems company, where he built the operations group from its beginning through the company's acquisition by AMCC.

Kun previously served in operations, manufacturing and customer-service roles at Evans & Sutherland, Truevision, Sigma Designs, Radius, and Sun Microsystems.

 


Sivarama (Siva) Kodukula
Vice President of OEM Relations


Sivarama (Siva) Kodukula is a veteran technologist and business executive with more than 35 years experience in engineering, management and business development. Siva joins Chelsio from IBM, where he worked for more than 30 years and was recognized with one the highest honors accorded by IBM, earning the title “Distinguished Engineer.” His technical expertise includes VLSI design, high speed interconnect, networking and server clustering technology. 

Siva is well known in the networking/server industry and his technological achievements include a broad portfolio of patents ranging from system architecture, chip designs, data security, performance enhancements, and energy conservation. His large volume of patents and contributions to new inventions also earned him the status of “Master Inventor” at IBM. Siva is a graduate of Cornell University with B.S.E.E. and M.S.E.E. degrees.

 

William Delaney
Vice President of Finance and CFO

Delaney joins Chelsio from ConSentry Networks, where he was CFO and Vice President of Operations.  William is also a veteran executive at a number of Bay Area technology companies, including Vice President of Finance at Media Q and Incyte Pharmaceuticals.  He also served in operations and corporate controller roles at Cisco Systems, Chiron Corporation and LSI Logic.  Delaney has a Bachelor of Business Studies from the University of Limerick, Ireland.

 

Randy Skelley
Vice President, Sales

Skelley has more than 20 years of sales and management experience in storage and networking industries.  Prior to Chelsio, Randy was VP of business development for ClearPath Networks and he has held various global and regional OEM and channel sales leadership positions with companies such as Quantum Corporation, ATTO Technology and GN Netcom.

 

Sean Conlon
Vice President, Sales - Asia Pacific

Conlon has more than 20 years experience in high performance networking, with a strong track record of developing new business in Asia Pacific and Japan.  Prior to joining Chelsio, Sean held key positions in Broadcom's Enterprise Networking and Enterprise Computing Groups, including General Manager of the Chipset and Storage Infrastructure business.  Prior to Broadcom, he was the Asia Pacific marketing director for Intel's Communications Group, and he held other key marketing and technical roles at Intel Corporation.
